I love mind games... They say that both my kids ( I sure hope so) will both be intelligent because during my first pregnancy, I solved crossword puzzles day in day out, and during my 2nd pregnancy I played Scrabble with my husband everyday. I also enjoyed brain teasers and mind boggling questions, not only because I enjoy coming up with the answers, but also because I like throwing the questions to my husband... Now let me share some of my favorites..

Here are easy ones first:

The Book

A woman walked up to a man behind the counter and handed him a book. He looked at it and said, "That would be $4". She paid the man and then left without t he book. The man saw her leave without it but did not call her her back. How come?

The Truck Driver

A police officer saw a truck driver clearly going the wrong way down a one-way street, but did not try to stop him. Why not?

A Strange Christening

During a christening ceremony, the godmother of the child suddenly tackled the priest who was conducting the ceremony, knoked him down, and rolled him over on the ground. Why did he do this?

The River Problem

A man came to a river carrying a fox, a duck, and a bag of corn. There was a boat in which he could ferry one of the three items across the river at any one time. He could not leave the fox alone with the duck, nor the duck alone with the corn, so how did he get all three across?

These questions came from the book Great Lateral Thinking Puzzles, more next time...

A poem created by my husband when I asked him to write a sort of wedding invitation card quote for me....

For better or worse I pledge
Through sickness and strife
Though we may be on the edge
I will keep those vows for life.

I know not if tomorrow's sail
Be smooth or rough
But if your hand holds mine
It's more than enough.

I love you.

My reason for...

I've always loved writing. I know I am not as talented in writing as I really want to be, but I love the feeling I get when and after I write... I am the kind of person who has a lot of thoughts, feelings, questions.. I think I could say I am really introspective, I really sit back and analyze my thoughts, my feelings, and simply everything around me.. I also have a lot questions, sometimes, I am able to answer them myself, sometimes I need others' responses..

And so I created this blog.. To think, to feel, to share, and to learn...
